Burglar wields knife in Hoppers Crossing

02 Feb, 2012 03:00 AM
A HOPPERS Crossing woman was threatened with a knife during an aggravated burglary on Australia Day.

Wyndham detectives said the 61 year old was pushed to the floor by a man who forced his way through the front door. He removed cash from her purse, threatened her with the knife and demanded that she tell him where her credit card was.

The man then left the house with the victim's cash. He is of medium build and was wearing blue overalls and a balaclava. Call Crime Stoppers on 1800333000.
