WYNDHAMVALE failed in its quest for an outright win over Williamstown Colts in the Williamstown and District Cricket Association A1 turf at Wyndhamvale Reserve on Saturday.
The Falcons were met with a much sterner Colts batting line-up on the second day.
Skipper Trent Lawford took 7-54 but the Falcons had to be content with the first innings points that moves them to within three points of the top four.
Point Cook had a victory to savour by three wickets over Grand United at Parsons Reserve.
Half centuries from Nico Kruger and David Hicks ensured Point Cook would cruise to the 231 winning target in 69 overs.
